Privacy notice
Who we are
Ronit Ahuja, an individual operating as IKAG in the United Kingdom, is the controller of the personal information described here. IKAG is a trading name, not an incorporated limited company. Our address is 75 Marsh Wall, London E14 9TT, United Kingdom. Contact hello@ikag.dev about your information or this notice.
This notice covers the marketing website, the early-access list and partner enquiries. It does not cover use of the IKAG product, which will have its own notice.
What we collect and why
Requested launch notifications
The early-access form asks for your email address. Submitting it specifically requests an email telling you when IKAG is ready. We use your address for that request and to prevent duplicate entries. Our UK GDPR lawful basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing hello@ikag.dev. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew.
This request does not sign you up for a promotional mailing list. Newsletters, offers and other promotional marketing would need a separate opt-in. No automatic respondent emails or promotional email campaigns are enabled for these forms.
Partner enquiries
We collect your name, work email, company or provider name, and the data or partnership idea you send us. A website or API documentation URL is optional. We use this information and any subsequent correspondence to respond and discuss the proposed partnership. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and exploring relevant business partnerships. You can object to this use by contacting us.
Providing information is voluntary, but we need an email address to send a requested launch notification and enough enquiry details to respond. Please do not include passwords, API keys, sensitive personal information or confidential customer data.
Services and international processing
We use Tally Free to host both forms and store submitted answers, submission identifiers and submission times. Answers go directly to Tally; there is no separate IKAG marketing database. Tally acts as our processor for form responses and says its form data is stored in Europe, using Google Cloud hosting in Belgium.
Form responses are managed in the Tally dashboard. Form email notifications are disabled. If you email us or correspond about an enquiry, Google Workspace processes those messages in our inbox at hello@ikag.dev. Tally lists SendGrid in the United States for optional form email notifications; that notification route is not enabled for these forms. We have not added file uploads, payment fields or other form integrations.
Railway serves this static website and may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect it. Form answers go directly to Tally. Hosting a website in one region does not mean all service processing stays in that region.
These services can involve processing outside the UK, including the European Economic Area and the United States. Google’s terms allow processing where Google and its subprocessors have facilities; we do not claim that our email is stored only in the UK or Europe. Tally publishes a data-processing agreement, and Google’s Cloud Data Processing Addendum describes its transfer commitments, including contractual safeguards where applicable.
We rely on Tally’s data-processing agreement for form responses. Tally stores them in the European Economic Area, which UK data protection law treats as providing adequate protection. Where Tally or Google use providers elsewhere, their processing terms describe the safeguards that apply. Website operational logs follow Railway’s processing and retention terms. You can ask us for information about these safeguards.
Read Tally’s processing and subprocessor information , Tally’s data-processing agreement and Google’s data-processing terms .
We use the information for the purposes above and do not sell it. We may disclose information if required by law. These forms do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects; the email duplicate check only prevents repeated early-access entries.
How long we keep information
- Early-access details: 12 months from submission, or sooner on request.
- Partner enquiries and related correspondence: 12 months after the last meaningful correspondence, or sooner on request.
These periods cover our Tally responses and email copies. Tally Free does not automate retention, so deleting them requires a manual process in Tally and the inbox. Tally’s standard deletion process keeps deleted items in Trash for up to 90 days unless Trash is emptied earlier; its published policy also describes removal from backups within 90 days. Email deletion and backup removal follow the provider’s procedures. Contact us to request earlier deletion or to stop launch notifications.
Your rights and complaints
Under UK data protection law, you can ask for access to and a copy of your information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion or restriction of its use. Where the legal conditions apply, you can request a portable copy. You can withdraw consent for launch notifications and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Some rights have legal limits; we will explain these if they affect your request.
Email hello@ikag.dev to exercise a right or raise a concern. We may need proportionate information to check your identity. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) through ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint . You may contact the ICO without first complaining to us, although we welcome the chance to help.
